Standard Scabbards
These scabbards
fit the "Combat Swords for Re-enactors" range of swords. They are made from heavy vegetable tanned cattle hide which is moulded to fit the blade perfectly. The back seam is butt stitched by hand to give a flat seam and they have a moulded belt slot so that they can be carried on a belt without a frog.
They are dyed using period dyes and are available in three colours - oak gall black, buckthorn brown and natural tan.

Custom Scabbards
These scabbards
can be made to fit any style of sword. They are made with a heavy cattle hide core which is covered with goat skin that can be moulded around decorative bands and the belt slot. Each scabbard is custom made for it's sword and can be modified to suit most requirments such as additional small knives set into the scabbard, tooling and silver or brass fittings.
They are dyed using period dyes and are available in three colours - oak gall black, brazil wood red and buckthorn brown.
Prices range from £150 - £250 depending on the style and fittings required. |
